PURPOSE:To coat economically the inner surface of a can without generating any pinholes by filling molten polyethylene into the rolled joint part of the can, then injecting a large amt. of the same resin powder onto the inner periphery of the can and heating the powder. CONSTITUTION:When a synthetic resin film is coated on the inner surface of a drum can, a pail, etc., an open drum can 1 is finished into conditions suitable for coating and polyethylene resin which has been melted by heating is injected onto the inner peripheral surface of the bottom of the can, namely the rolled joint part 2, by an injection nozzle 6 and filled. Then the powder of the same resin is injected by an electrostatic coating gun which is directed at a specified angle to the inner peripheral surface of the can. At this time, the amt. is controlled to the amt. larger than the limit of electrostatic powder coating. Then the can is put in a heating furnace, the powder coating is melted and adhered to he whole inner surface of the can to coat the resin. Inexpensive coating is thus carried out.
