PURPOSE:To obtain a transmission system immune to the effect of noise with less number of transmission lines by sending a data while repeating alternately the transmission and reception. CONSTITUTION:An MPU 1 executes a time interruption routine by using a time interruption signal, sets an SEL signal (output of PC 2) to an L level to send a data TxD addressed to an MPU 3 to a transmission line L0. The data RxD is received by the serial data input terminal PC 1 of the MPU 3 and when the interruption is permitted by the main routine of the MPU 3, the timer interruption routine is executed to store the reception data in a RAM and the transmission data TxD addressed to the MPU 1 is sent from a serial data output terminal PCO. The transmission data TxD is sent to a transmission line L1 and received by the serial data input terminal PCO of the MPU 1 as the reception data RxD. The MPU 1 uses the reception interruption signal to execute the reception interruption routine. Similarly the exchange of data is repeated.
