DIELECTRIC RESONATOR BAND-PASS FILTER

PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration in the cut-off characteristic in the waveguide mode due to the projection of a metal-made plate by providing a recessed part storing the metal-made plate to a position where each dielectric resonator is provided with a metallic chassis. CONSTITUTION:The recessed part 11 storing the metal-made plate 3 is formed to the inner face of the metallic chassis 1 provided with the dielectric resonators 2. The depth of the recessed part 11 is formed nearly equal to the thickness of the metal-made plate 3 and designed so that the upper face of the metal-made plate 3 is made to the same plane as the inner face of the metallic chassis 1 while the electric resonators 2 are fitted to the metallic chassis 1. Thus, the deterioration in the cut-off characteristic in the waveguide mode due to the projection of the metal-made plate 3 from the inner face of the metallic chassis 1 is prevented.
