PURPOSE:To input a character column by one key operation and to perform a communication processing with a host computer by providing a means for performing a communication control corresponding to a key and a forming processing of a telegraphic sentence based on a pressig down the control key. CONSTITUTION:An input interface section 11 classifies an input signal from a keyboard 9 and for instance an input signal by pressing down a specific key is given to a specific key processing section 12 and an input signal by pressing down a control key is given to a control key processing section 13. The processing section 12 reads a registered word corresponding to a specific key signal applied from the interface section 11 from a converting table on a main memory 5 to deliver to a character/graphic generating circuit 6. The registered word produced herein is incorporated in a frame memory 7 and displayed on a CRT 8. The processing section 13 writes the switch condition of the pressed down control key in a control table 22 on a memory 5. A business processing program, after a 1 telegraphic sentence is processed, referring to the table 22, transmits a predetermined communication control command to a host computer. |
