PURPOSE:To control normal starting optimally with quick response to load fluctuation, by adopting an electronically controlled starting valve. CONSTITUTION:A control device 8 receives a crank angle detection signal 13 from a crank angle detecting device 6 and a set mode signal 14 from an input setting device 7 to compute a valve opening sequence of a starting valve 3, and further receives a pressure signal 11 from an air tank 1 and a load signal 17 from a load 16 to compute an opening/closing timing and an opening area of the starting valve 3. An automatic start air stop valve 2 is opened when a starting signal 14' is received by the control device 8. Then, the starting valve 3 is sequentially operated by a starting valve driving signal 12 according to the valve opening sequence and the opening/closing timing as previously computed. The control device 8 computes an optimum condition according to the crank angle detection signal 13 and the load signal 17 to generate a correction signal of the opening/closing timing and the opening area of the starting valve 3 as the starting valve driving signal 12. When the starting valve 3 is opened, the air is supplied through an air piping 9 to an interior 5 of a cylinder 4. |
