PURPOSE:To avoid rotation of a starter after starting of an engine, by detecting a fixed voltage of an output from a generator lower than a rated voltage to thereby detect the starting of the engine. CONSTITUTION:When a starter-on circuit 17 detects stop of alternating current from a commercial AC power terminal 10, a starter-on signal is generated from a signal output terminal 18 to thereby start an engine 16 by a starter 15 and drive a generator 12. The starter-on signal is generated at predetermined intervals and predetermined times. If a start detecting circuit 23 detects that an output voltage of a rectifier circuit 22 has become a predetermined voltage lower than a rated voltage of the generator 12 under non-rotation of the starter 15, generation of the starter-on signal is stopped. Accordingly, even when the interval of generation of the starter-on signal is made shorter, there is no possibility that the starter 15 is rotated after starting of the engine 16. Thus, the generator 12 may be started up in a short time. |
