PURPOSE:To feed welding wire surely without any slipping off by cutting the thread part having a certain angle to the wire feeding direction onto the outer peripheral face of a welding wire and by constituting to feed the wire with the rotation of the thread part thereof. CONSTITUTION:The diameter of chuck member 19 is slowly reduced along the slope of conical part 16 when the chuck member 19 is pressed via spring 24 by screwing pressure member 23 into rotor shaft 14 after passing welding wire 7 through the insertion hole 15 of the rotor shaft 14 as of the rotary body, chuck member 19 and the hole 25 of pressure member 23 in the state of loosening the pressure member 23, and the thread part 22 provided on the inner face thereof is cut into the outer peripheral face of the welding wire 7. The chuck member 19 is integrally rotated with the rotor shaft 14 when the rotor shaft 14 is rotated by actuating motor 11 in this state. The welding wire 7 is fed out from the rotor shaft 14 by the thread pitch part with one rotation of the time of the rotation of the chuck member 19 and fed to welding position.
