Wedging member for positioning panels (1) of geometrical shape, side-by-side, leaving a space (6) between two adjacent panels, such as earthenware tiles, said wedging member being star-shaped, with a plurality of substantially flat branches (3) extending in parallel to a positioning plane (2) for the wedging member, and on the sides (5) of which the edges (4) of said panels (1) can rest, whereas means (7) for holding the star which are fast with the upper face (8) of said star, have a height such that the distance (H) between the upper end of said holding means and the lower face of the star is greater than the thickness (L) of the panels (1) to be laid, and have a first dimension (D) in a first direction (F) perpendicular to the sides (5) of a branch (3) of the star, which is at the most equal to the thickness (E) of said branch of the star, characterized in that said holding means are constituted by a threadlike pin (7), of which a second dimension (D) in a second direction (G) different from the first direction (F), parallel to the panel-laying plane (2) and to the sides (5) of one of the branches of the star, is such that by oscillating said pin with respect to its base (9), said pin can be broken at its base.</p> |
