<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a paint on a body from exfoliating due to the friction between the body and a body cover, by laminating a loop-knitted material having numerous knitted loops, on the inside surface of a metallic film obtained by mixing powder of aluminum in a synthetic resin film. CONSTITUTION:A body cover 1 is made of a combined sheet in which a metallic film 7 obtained by mixing powder of aluminum in vinyl chloride or the like and a loo-knitted material 8 having set-up knitted loops K on one side are laminated together. The body cover 1 is formed so as to correspond to the form of an automobile body. The loop-knitted material 8 is laid on the inside of the body cover 1. Pads 9, each of which has a prescribed size and is partly provided with surface engages 6 which are protrusive and can engage with the loop-knitted material 8, are equipped on the nooks of the body cover 1, which correspond to the corners of the automobile body, at which the radiator portion B, hood portion C and other portions D-G of the automobile body meet its still other portions H located at both the sides of the former portions and which are liable to be worn. The body cover 1 can be tightened by an expansible and compressible tightener 3 provided on the entire periphery of the hem of the body cover.</p> |
