PURPOSE:To make possible the sepn. of an org. compd. having a non-polar part by introducing a sample into a sepn. column and analyzing the same by using the mobile phase of a buffer soln. contg. a cationic or anionic surface active agent. CONSTITUTION:With this chromatography, the sample is introduced into the sepn. column packed therein with a carrier and the sample is analyzed by using the mobile phase of the buffer soln. contg. respectively the required amt. of the cationic surface active agent in the case of the sepn. column of the carrier contg. the cation exchange group and the anionic surface active agent in the case of the sepn. column of the carrier having the anion exchange group. The sample compd. and the surface active agent are bonded to increase the ionicity of the sample by using the sepn. column of the carrier having the ion exchange group and the mobile phase added with the surface active agent which can bond hydrophobically with the sample compd., by which the holding of the sample by the column is intensified and the sample is analyzed.
