PURPOSE:To enable the mass production of the joint member having a bladder hole by subjecting to the secondary work after applying the external pressure with press die on the cup-shaped cylindrical metallic body of which one end is closed and subjecting the closed end side to bulge shaping or drawing shaping. CONSTITUTION:A cup-shaped cylindrical metallic material M is covered on a core metal 4 and charged to the lower die 2 of a press die to descend the upper die 1. The external pressure is then applied by recessed parts 1a, 2a on the closed end side of the metallic material M and the closed end part causes the flow of blank along the inner wall of recessed parts, is deformed in spherical surface and formed to a flask-shaped metallic member N. The recessed part 1'a, 2'a are formed in the spherical surface having the diameter equivalent to the cylindrical diameter, the external pressure is applied by its inserting hole being made as the drawing hole 3' of smaller diameter than the cylindrical diameter and the closed end side is formed in hollow spherical shape also the drawing hole 3' is subjected to drawing with press. The housing of the ball joint having the bladder hole is then formed by forming a flattened surface with crushing of both sides or one side of the hollow sphere part 5 and by piercing a through hole 7.
