PURPOSE:To reduce a useless staying time in PCB cases for improvement of productivity and the like by providing specific conditions for receiving PCBs (printed circuit boards) in the PCB cases to control the feed of the PCBs when feeding the PCBs automatically. CONSTITUTION:The following conditions are provided when PCBs 8p are received in PCB cases 3d. PCBs 8p which are inserted continuously belong to a single model even if they are inserted into a plurality of PCB cases 3d. When a model is to be changed, an empty receiving stage for a single piece is provided. If two receiving stages are empty, no PCB 8p will be received thereafter. Since the first three pieces of the PCBs in a PCB case A are of identical model, electronic parts are inserted to them according to NC data alpha, then electronic parts are inserted again to PCBs 8p in receiving stages after the empty receiving stage according to NC data beta after confirming their model. Next, the PCB case A is replaced with a PCB case B and electronic parts are inserted to four pieces of PCBs, then a projecting cylinder is actuated twice to confirm an empty stage.
