PURPOSE:To ensure the separation and pay-out of sheets one by one, by constituting each feed roller used in a sheet-like material pay-out device, with a feed roller section and cam roller sections which are arranged on both sides of the feed roller section and each of which has a slide surface section having a diameter greater than that of the feed roller section and a surface section having diameter smaller than that of the feed roller. CONSTITUTION:A pay-out device incorporated in a banknote storage cassette 1 used in a banknote vending machine, is composed of a pair of right and left rollers 3, 3 fixed to a feed roller shaft 4, and a gate roller 7 supported to a shaft 8 cooperating with the rollers 3, 3 to define a gate gap which allows only one sheet to pass therethrough. In this arrangement, each feed roller 3 is composed of a feed roller section 6 formed therein with a plurality of grooves 6a, and cam roller sections 5 arranged on both sides of the roller section 6. Each cam roller section 5 has a small diameter surface part 5A ranging over substantially one-third of the entire periphery of the cam roller section and having a diameter equal to or slightly smaller than that of the feed roller section 6 and a large diameter surface part 5B ranging the remaining periphery and having a diameter slightly greater than that of the feed roller section 6.
