PURPOSE:To prevent deflection which occurs at a processed material between processes by applying the speed correcting signal set beforehand to the speed control system of the next process when the starting signal of the prescribed processing is inputted. CONSTITUTION:In a paper making machine, driving rolls 2-4 are driven respectively by driving motors 5-7 and respective motors are controlled respectively by the output of speed control devices 11-13. Into the devices 11-13, by speed setting circuits 14-16 respectively, speed reference signals 21-23 are inputted which are a speed ratio for the roll peripheral speed for a line speed reference signal 20. When coating is started by the roll 2 and a starting signal is generated, connecting points 17A1 and 17A2 are closed and 17B1 and 17B2 are opened, a correcting signal S from a speed correcting signal generating circuit 18 is applied to the reference signal 22 and the deflection 1' of the processed material between rolls 2 and 3 is automatically corrected. After the coating is started, the speed ratio D'3 of the peripheral speed of a roll 4 for the signal 20 is set by a speed setting circuit 19 and the deflection is automatically prevented which occurs at the processed material in the next process. |
