PURPOSE:To obtain easily flat yarn having plural colors in the direction of thickness, by making melts of resins having different hues flow in a beltlike state, respectively, joining them, integrating them, cooling and solidifying them. CONSTITUTION:Resins having different colors are melted by the extruders 1, 2, and 11, or the resins are melted, and blended with pigments having different colors. The resin melts are made to flow in a beltlike state, joined at the outlets 10, integrated, extruded, cooled and solidified. Consequently, the flat yarn 16 made of synthetic resin wherein the color layers 19-21 having plural colors in the thickness direction are integrated along the whole length of the yarn is obtained.
