PURPOSE:To improve data transmission efficiency by storing a reception data into a control memory in response to an address designated from a reception buffer pointer and using a transmission buffer pointer to transmit the data stored in the control memory in response to the address. CONSTITUTION:When the reception buffer pointer 11 designates a reception data storage address, a reception data is fetched directly in the control memory 13 storing a reception data. Further, a transmission data stored in the control memory 13 is outputted directly externally by using the transmission buffer pointer 12 to designate the transmission data storage address. Thus, it is not required to transmit a data between the control memory and the transmission/ reception buffer, the data transmission processing time is reduced and the transmission efficiency is improved.
