PURPOSE:To eliminate the heat of an exciting light source to a laser rod by providing photoguiding means between the rod and the light source. CONSTITUTION:An exciting light from an exciting light source 1 is guided through a lens 2, a filter 3, and a photoconductive member 4 such as a fiber light guide to a laser rod 7. Then, since the rod 7 and the light source 1 can be mounted at the separate position, it can prevent the heat of the light source 1 from being transmitted to the rod 7. When the side of the rod 7 is contacted with a heat sink 11, the temperature rise due to self-heating of the rod 7 can be reduced. |
