PURPOSE:To easily assure optimum discharge reserve by controlling temperature of slkaline solution during discharge. CONSTITUTION:For example, an anode plate obtained by filling 6.5g of active material in a sintered plate is charged in 20% NaOH solution at a current of 0.3A for 12 hours, then discharged in alkaline solution whose temperature is controlled at a current of 1A to -0.8V. The anode plate is washed and dried, then coupled with a cathode to assemble a battery. By this process, high discharge reserve of the battery is assured. |
