PURPOSE:To supply a signal to a printer and to obtain the recording paper of the same picture as that on a monitor by picking up a film or a photograph, reflecting it on the monitor, on the other hand, providing the generating circuit of the trimming signal and executing the trimming on the monitor. CONSTITUTION:The signal obtained from a camera head 8 is supplied through an amplifier 31 and a processor 32 to the color encoder 34 of an NTSC system and a composite signal is obtained. The signal is supplied through a mixer 35, etc., to a monitor 10 and a color picture is reproduced. The trimming signal is supplied from a trimming signal generating circuit (mask generator 40, etc.,) for the mixer 35 and a gate circuit 36. Consequently, by watching the picture reflected on the monitor 10, the scope of the trimming can be known without fail and the trimming condition can be easily changed. Further, the signal from an amplifying circuit 37 is also supplied to a printer 38, the printing is started by operating the push button and finally the same image as the picture reflected on the monitor 10 can be obtained on the recording paper.
