A system for increasing the accuracy of a positioning system takes into account low frequency variations of the commanded angle. For a gun (1) the servo comprises a primary circuit which includes signal processing amplifiers (6, 7) for which the command signals are obtained from an existing fire control equipment (4, 5), and a secondary circuit, including the amplifier 7, in which the command signals are obtained from a gyro unit (13) measuring the angular velocities of the base of the gun in roll, pitch and yaw. The secondary servo circuit comprises comparison means (15) for comparing the command signals emitted by the gyro unit with the actual angular velocities of the gun which are measured by means of a tachometer (16), the amplifier 7 being adjusted for highest amplification for typical base movements. <IMAGE> |
