PURPOSE:To raise the efficiency of operations for continuous round excavation by a method in which the ground is spirally excavated by a bucket while turning a ladder excavator around a vertical shaft. CONSTITUTION:The first supporter 32 of the first traveler 14 consisting of travelers 34 and 36 is positioned at the center point 38 of a circle to be excavated. The travelers 20 and 22 of the second traveler are regulated to a given angle to the second supporter 18. The travelers 34, 36, 20, and 22 are operated, and while turning the horizontal port ion 10 of a ladder excavator 8 around the center point 38 in the direction of arrow A, the ground is excavated by a bucket provided to the conveyer 28 of the excavator 8. The excavation of the ground is made spirally around the center point 38, and excavated soil is discharged to outside through a conveyer 28 consisting of a horizontal portion 10 and a vertical portion 12, a hopper 46, a vertical conveyer 48, and a belt conveyer 50. |
