PURPOSE:To provide a bathing agent containing zeolite adsorbed with effective hot-spring gas components such as carbon dioxide gas, hydrogen sulfide, etc., and effective to attain the bathing effect of the above component pleasantly in home without increasing the salt content in a bath. CONSTITUTION:An effective gaseous component of hot-spring, e.g. carbon dioxide gas, hydrogen sulfide, radon, etc., especially carbon dioxide gas or hydrogen sulfide is adsorbed to a zeolite, preferably a synthetic zeolite having improved gas-absorptivity, especially an aluminosilicate of formula (M is Na, K, Ca or Mg; n is atomic valence of M; x is 0.7-1.5; y is 0.8-1.0), and the zeolite is used as a component of a bathing agent. The hot-spring curing effect can be achieved by the above gaseous component by the addition of the above bathing agent to bath water, and the agent can be added repeatedly to the bath water in the reheating of the bath without causing the increase in the salt concentration. The agent gives excellent feeling to the body. When the gaseous component is carbon dioxide gas, the pH of an aqueous solution containing 0.01wt% bathing agent is preferably 4-7. |
