PURPOSE:To obtain a central heating device, in which a circulating pump is eliminated, by a method wherein a heating source is ON-OFF controlled by detecting the liquid level in a vapor generator. CONSTITUTION:In a central heating device, the vapor produced in a vapor generator 1 by the actuation of a heating source 2 is sent through a vapor conduit 6 into the radiating coil 8 of each radiator 7 and condensed therein and stored in a condensate reservoir 10. When the liquid level in the vapor generator 1 lowers, a low liquid level sensor 4 detects the lowering of said level and outputs an OFF signal to a control valve 3 so as to stop the actuation of the heating source 2. Accordingly, the vapor in the vapor generator 1 condenses and consequently vacuum is produced in the vapor generator 1, resulting in refluxing the condensate stored in the condensate reservoir 10 of each radiator 7 through the radiating coil 8, a branch vapor conduit 11, the vapor conduit 6 to the vapor generator 1. After that, when the liquid level in the vapor generator 1 rises again, an ON signal is sent to the control valve 3 so as to start the actuation of the heating source 2. Space heating is performed by repeating the above-mentioned ON-OFF actions of the heating source 2. |
