Invention concerns a driving device for feeding items out of horizontal shelves (1), for example in a vending machine. The shelves can be arranged one over the other on a rack (2) and each feature at least one partitioning device (5) which extends at a right angle to the edge (8) of its frame and on which a chain transport (26, 32, 34) is mounted, to which an item feeder (7) is coupled along the partitioning device (5) in order to shift the item out over the edge of the shelf. In this invention the chain transport's (26, 32, 34) sprocket (26) is drive-connected with a motor (9) common for all the item feeders across a movement transfer mechanism (12, 13, 14) that features an outgoing gear (14) to which the chain transport for the desired item can be connected via a magnetic coupling (24) activated by payment.<IMAGE> |
