PURPOSE:To attain highly efficient on-line control and continuous transmission/ reception of data by providing a buffer cell storing a transmission request issued continuously by a host means and data to be sent. CONSTITUTION:Access request control block ARCB(1) information, ARCB(2) information, ARCB(3) information ... are stored in a buffer cell 1 and start a low-order program 3. Then the program 3 executes the connection of physical data transmission lines and the data (1), (2) and (3) ... stored in buffer cells (1), (2), (3) ... are sent continuously to an opposite station. Thus, even when the transmission of the data (1) based on the transmission request (1)4 is not sent yet, the high-order program 2 issues the 2nd transmission request (2)5 and the continuous transmission/reception of data and efficient on-line control are attained.
