<p>PURPOSE:To decrease the side lobe level by providing an Oldham's coupling between a mirror and a gimbal scanning said mirror, decreasing the diameter of a through hole of the primary horn at the center of the mirror, improving remarkably the signal gain and making the deviation between the primary horn and the mirror center minute. CONSTITUTION:The primary horn 2 is penetrated through the center of the mirror 1. The mirror 1 and the gimbal 3 are fitted via the Oldham's coupling 6 and the mirror 1 and the gimbal 3 have a structure that they are slid freely in parallel with the mounting face by the Oldham's coupling. Thus, when the gimbal 3 makes scan, the mirror 1 is about to move on a circle having a radius R' being a distance between the mirror 1 and the gimbal scan turning center 4, but the mirror 1 is restricted for movement by the primary horn 2 and the Oldham's coupling 6 is slid. As a result, the mirror 1 is not moved and the scan synchronously with the gimbal 3 at the original position is attained.</p> |
