PURPOSE:To improve absorbency, retainablity of electrolyte and electrical characteristic and prolong life by using a sheet obtained through combination between fibers of synthetic pulp obtained by mixing 40-60wt% of specified polyorefine group synthetic pulp with 60-40wt% of polyorefine group long fiber. CONSTITUTION:40-60wt% of polyorefine group synthetic pulp with 2mm or less in average fiber length, 1-4 in water filtering degree, and 3 or less in melt index is mixed with 60-40wt% of polyorefine group long fiber with 1.5 denier or less in fiber degree, and 2-10mm in fiber length whose melting point is higher than that of the synthetic pulp. This mixture is dispersed in the water and made into web as paper material by wet type paper making method, and heated, or subjected to heat fusion between fibers of synthetic pulp by heating pressurization to produce a non woven sheet of a constant thickness, and the sheet is impregnated with polyamide group resin solution. And it is dried and applied by 5-30wt% of resin in solid portion, and such a paper making separa tor with apparent density 0.15g/cm<3>-0.4g/cm<3> and low voltage resistance, and with large strength and absorbency of electrolyte can be obtained. |
