PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a DC magnet, by arranging one DC magnetic field adapted to saturate ferromagnetic substance by intensifying the magnetization thereof and another magnetic field larger than it. CONSTITUTION:A pellet 1b is magnetized by a DC magnetic field H1 of a magnetizing coil 2. But the intensity of magnetization of the DC magnetic field H1 shall be less than saturate ferromagnetic substance contained in the pellet 1b and normally, the intensity of magnetization is the ferromagnetic substance is below about 1,000AN/m. On the other hand, the DC magnetic field H2 generated by a magnetizing coil 3 is made enough to saturate the ferromagnetic substance contained in the pellet 1b or near its level and hence, the intensity M12 and MN2 of magnetization of the ferromagnetic substance and paramagnetic substance are also larger than that as mentioned above. This eliminates the need for the intensity of magnetic field enough to saturate the ferromagnetic substance on the side of one search coil thereby saving the power consumption. |
