PURPOSE:To effectively and permanently decompose ozone by operating a feeding parts of the ozone decomposer linking the feeding parts to an actuation of a corona electrical charging parts, thereby feeding the ozone decomposer to the ozone band, without raising a temperature of the apparatus. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatically charged signal 21 generated on a main substrate at a start of copying in the copying machine is fed to a single shot IC 22 and then the output coming from the single short is fed to a solenoid 15 whereby an iron-core 18 of the solenoid 15 is displaced in the right direction of the arrow and the decomposer such as a terpene compd. contd. in the spray is continuously or intermittently sprayed or dropped on the fixing roller 5, opening a nozzle of the spray 16. The opening period of the nozzle is decided by selecting a capacitor 23 and a resistance 24 according to the decomposition period of ozone and the decomposition amount. The resistance 24 is preferable to be variable linking to the operations of the enlargement and the contraction of the nozzle. The supplemental amount of the terpene compd. per the discharging amount of ozone is one mol per one mol of ozone, when a limonene is used as the terpene compd. By applying the titled method as mentioned above, the decomposition of ozone may be permanently and effectively performed, without raising the temperature of the apparatus. The operation of the titled apparatus may be automatically performed. |
