CLOCK PULSE WRITE DEVICE FOR DISK TYPE RECORDING MEDIUM

PURPOSE:To write data at a correct position of a disk type recording medium by using the read clock pulse as the reference by writing clock pulses of the desired number of clock pulses in synchronism with disk rotation. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 17 stores the frequency division ratio N of a frequency divider 21 and the preset desired number of pulses M per rotation of the disk. The CPU makes use of these values to compute a count value MX per disk rotation. Since the number of produced pulses MX of the pulse generating means of synchronized with the rotation corresponds to one disk rotation, the M number of clock pulses produced by the clock pulse generating means while the MX number of pulses are produced from the generating means are written on the disk during one complete revolution of the disk.
