When the dose of radiant rays emitted from the outside face of the pipe is measured, the detecting material is provided on the inside face of a cylinder surrounding the pipe to transmit the light generated in the detecting material by the optical fiber cable, and the scintillator part is formed to various shapes. Since the scintillator part and the photoelectron multiplier tube part are separated from each other and the scitillator part can be carried, measurement near the object to be measured is possible.
