PURPOSE:To ensure the easy fitting of a guard to an electric fan by forming clips on the surface of a front cover for holding forcibly the wires of a rear guard as connected to said clips. CONSTITUTION:The guard of an electric fan comprises a cover 11, a fitting plate 15 to be coupled to a cylindrical part 12 and a rear guard 14 having a number of wires 16 radially extended to the said fitting plate 15. Three clips 18 arranged in a peripheral direction are molded on the front of the cover 11 monolithically. The said clips 18 have two projections 19a and 19b projected from the front part of the cover 11, thereby positioning properly the rear guard 14, preventing its falling-off from the cylindrical part 12 and ensuring the easy fitting of the rear guard 14.
