The invention relates to a corrugated-strip electrical heating resistor. The subject of the invention is an electrical heating resistor of the type with flat wire or metal strip fixed to a board made of insulating material, characterised in that it comprises, on the same board 1, at least one series of corrugations 3 defining a plane perpendicular to the board and arranged alternately either side of the latter, the said corrugations consisting of a flat wire or strip 2 which is itself corrugated, means 46 being provided for fixing the flat wire(s) or strip(s) 2 to the board of insulating material 1.
