PURPOSE:To flush the lens surface of a head lamp with the outer surface of a vehicle body when the head lamp is stored, by providing a first link member rotatably supported to the vehicle body and tiltably supporting the head lamp, and a second link member pivotally attached to the former link member and connected to the head lamp through optical axis adjusting screws. CONSTITUTION:Upon rise-up of a head lamp 15 a second link member 16 connected to the above-mentioned head lamp 15 through optical axis adjusting screws 29, 38 is clamped between a first link member 13 and a rise-up stopper 18. Therefore, the above-mentioned lamp 15 is fixed to the first link member 13 to hold its rise-up attitude. At this time the normal optical axis of the above- mentioned lamp 15 is set. Meanwhile when the lamp 15 is stored, the first link member 13 is rotated by means of a drive mechanism to release the clamped condition of the second link member 16, and therefore, the above-mentioned lamp 15 is freely rotated relative to the first link member 13. With this arrangement, the above-mentioned lamp 15 may be set, when stored, at a position where the lens surface of the lamp 15 is flush with the outer surface of the vehicle body. |
