<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a caterpillar from slacking during running by allowing a slider supported by the car body with a resilient means interposed to support an idle wheel for caterpillar. CONSTITUTION:The adjusting device concerned 10 is composed of a slider 11 located on the inside of the grounding surface of caterpillar 9, a lief spring 12 as resilient means to convert a displacement in vertical direction into the corresponding amount in the direction fore and aft and to move said slider 11 in the direction fore and aft, and a supporting arm fitted on the slider 11 to support the support shaft 13 of rotary shaft of an idle wheel 8. The slider 11 shall have U-formed profile, and its foremost part 11a be inclined a certain angle upward while the rear end walls be blocked. Supporting arm 14 to support said idle wheel 8 is fixed in a long hole 14a and a hole 11c bored in the side of slider with a bolt 17.</p> |
