PURPOSE:To improve sealing ability, by a method wherein an annular resilient body and a solid seat ring are mounted in an annular groove provided in the end surface of a valve body making contact with a valve body. CONSTITUTION:Valve bodies 1 and 2 are formed in the shape of a linear cylinder, and has a linear fluid flow passage formed at the interior. Annular grooves 9 and 10 are formed in the end surfaces of the valve bodies 1 and 2 respectively. The resilient body 11 and a solid seat ring 12 are located in the inner side and the outer side, respectively, of each annular groove in a manner that they are laminated to each other. The resilient body 11 is formed with a moulded product of, for example, ceramic fiber, and is resiliently deformed by a fastening force produced between the valve bodies 1 and 2. |
