PURPOSE:To prevent engine stall upon abrupt acceleration by providing a sliding tube in the way of throttle wire while coupling a spring between the wires and providing a damper for relieving the motion of said wire within specific operating range. CONSTITUTION:Upon quick operation of the operating lever to the full-open position, the upper side of the throttle wire 1 coupled with the operating lever is pulled to that position. The underside of the throttle wire 1 coupled to the throttle valve of carburetor is pulled simultaneously until the sliding chip 3 in the sliding tube 2 arranged in the way of wire 1 will contact against the damper 5, while upon contact against the damper 5, the spring 4 coupled between the wire 1 and the sliding chip 3 will expand to stop the motion at the under side of the wire 1. Hereafter, the damper 5 is retracted by the resiliency of the spring 4 while resisting against the spring 6 and the damper cylinder 7 to move gradually. Consequently, the throttle valve can be opened gradually while lagging to prevent engine stall. |
