PURPOSE:To make coupling operations into automation, by installing a device, which insets or detaches a coupling pin and holds it in a state of engagement or disengagement, in a tractor, while releasing this holding device with a trailer coupling part fitted in a tractor coupling part, and constituting the coupling pin so as to be inset in the coupling part. CONSTITUTION:In the state illustrated that a coupling device 2 is not yet cou pled, when a nontraction member 5 of a trailer 3 is made to enter the inside of a fitting hole 16 of a traction member 6 of a tractor 1, an operating member 39 is pressed, a rocking member 37 rocks whereby a regulating piece 10 comes off a regulating collar 21, making a connecting rod 30 go down due to a down ward rock of a rocking rod 29 by dint of a spring 25, and a coupling pin 7 pieces through interconnecting holes 18 and 19 and a pin hole 12 so that a hook 9 engages an engaging part 33, thus the tractor and the trailer are coupled together. In case of interconnection release, this hook 9 is removed from the engaging part 33 with a driving device 8, pulling up the connecting rod 30, and the coupling pin 7 is pulled out. After retraction of the nontraction member 5, the regulating piece 10 engages the regulating collar 21 by a spring 40, holding the connecting rod 30. |
