Inclinable and steerable mast for all types of boats and craft moved by the wind. The invention consists essentially of a device allowing the sail-carrying mast 1 to be inclined. Adjustable arrangement while the said craft is being manoeuvred by the driver, whatever the medium on which (or in which) it is moving. The device consists of an additional two-legged support 2A 2B fastened, at its lower part, to two rails 16, the mast resting on a movable shoe 3; the assembly can be adjusted in various ways making it possible to obtain adjustable and controlled inclination of the mast. 1. Adjustment takes place by displacement of one or both feet of the two-legged support 2A 2B, the mast foot 7 being then fixed but articulated via a vibration damper 4. 2. Adjustment takes place by displacement of the mast foot 7 on the shoe 3, the two-legged support 2A 2B being fixed but articulated by vibration dampers 5A 5B and 6A 6B. The main applications may relate to sailing boats, whether they are single or multihull, land yachts and all craft moved by the wind. <IMAGE>
