PURPOSE:To apply quick address setting by providing a tentative address generating circuit generating its own station address to a station to be supervised, sending the generated address to a supervisory device and allowing the supervisory station to apply address check. CONSTITUTION:In setting the station 2 to be supervised to the registration mode, the address is generated automatically by a random number generating circuit 4 in an address generating circuit 5. The address generated in the circuit 5 is sent from the station 2 to the supervisory station 1 by a transmitter 6. A reception circuit 7 of the station 1 receives an address from the station 2 and sends the data to the existing address check circuit 9 via a multiplex reception notice discriminating circuit 8. The circuit 9 discriminates whether or not the read address is already registered, and when no duplication exists, the address is registered in an address registration circuit 15.
