PURPOSE:To monitor a communication line without an exclusive device by switching the connection from the communication line to a reception section to a monitor line, storing a memory data in a memory and providing a means reading the connecting state of plural reception sections. CONSTITUTION:A line switching section 14 connected to communication lines 1-8 normally is switched to monitor lines M, M' by the control of a switch control section 12c with the keyboard operation attached to a display device 4. Then the data during transmission is monitored and received by a reception section 12b of line channels 7, 8, a monitor data is transferred to an MPU 11 and stored in a memory 13. Then the monitor data is displayed on the display device 4 to check the propriety of a monitor data.
