PURPOSE:To increase the quantity of processing of the software by writing a code length to a memory after a data passes through a serial/parallel conversion means writing data by one bit each and reading it after bits reach a prescribed bit number. CONSTITUTION:A code word is sent serially to a signal line 14 in an optional timing from a system bus 2. A serial/parallel conversion means 13 sends a read request signal 15 when a prescribed bit number is reached. Then a code word stored in the means 13 through a signal line 16 is transferred to a memory 12. Since the formatting processing of the software caused by the dissidence between the section of unequal length code and the section of the memory is not required, the quantity of processing of the software is decreased.
