The invention relates to a frame-shaped head restraint (1) for motor vehicle seats, in which the cushioning element (8, 9) of the entire frame-shaped head restraint (1) comprises, in terms of material, just one tube (3) which is in one piece, is seamless, optionally has circular-knit fabric around it and is highly flexible.
