A process for the preparation of aldehydes from olefins using CO/H2 in the presence of a water-soluble, rhodium-containing catalyst system is described. The reaction proceeds at 0.1 to 10 MPa and 20-160 DEG C. Ultrasound acts on the reaction mixture, consisting of aqueous catalyst phase, olefin, synthesis gas and, if desired, final products formed. |
