PURPOSE:To omit the program designing or coding with no consciousness of a level number by developing downward sequentially the level numbers of the records of a text at and after a place lower than the level number of an instruction when this level number is set at a place equal to or lower than the first level number of the text to be copied. CONSTITUTION:A compiler checks the level number '03' with description of 2 which designates a copy phrase and compares it with the level number '02' of the first record 1 of designated text 1. Then +2 is given automatically to the level number in the text 1 for development so that the level number of the record 1 is set at a place lower by a rank than the number '03' of the copy phrase designation 2. While the level number of '1' is not started from the level number +1 of the copy phrase designation 2 but at the number +N in relation to other operations with a source library. In such a case, the instruction of 'LEVEL = +N', for example, is applied to obtain a function that can change collectively the level numbers.
