PURPOSE:To know securely that a battery voltage drops to a level at which an electric circuit part is not driven normally, not to mention the power-on state of a power source by allowing a multi-color light emitting diode to emit light of different color according to a voltage level detected by a level detector. CONSTITUTION:A display device consists of the level detector composed of the multicolor light emitting diode 124 and a comparator 9 which detects the voltage level of a battery, the light emission diode control circuit composed of a comparator 17 and transistors (TR) 21 and 12, etc. Then, when the level detector detects such a voltage level that the electric circuit part 3 is put in normal operation continuously, the light emitting diode control circuit allows the multicolor light emitting diode 24 to emit light of one color and when the level detector detects a voltage level lower than the specific level below which the electric circuit part 3 can not be operated normally, the light emitting diode control circuit allows the multicolor light emitting diode 24 to emit light of another color.
