PURPOSE:To facilitate assembling of an outer cover, a disk holder and a torsion spring by placing the torsion spring in a receiving part. CONSTITUTION:A base 1 provided with a spindle 2 and a head 3 that moves in the radial direction of a magnetic disk 11 is provided, and a holder 13 that holds the disk 11 allowing free taking in and out is attached to the base 1 by a supporting shaft 34 at a fixed opening angle to allow free rising and falling. An outer cover 14 that covers the holder 13 is attached to the supporting shaft to allow free rising and falling, and clamps 28, 29 that hold the outer cover 14 in closed state and a torsion spring 39 that energizes the outer cover in releasing direction are provided in the base 1, and a receiving part 23 that supports the spring 39 on the center of the supporting shaft 34 is formed in the base 1. Thus, the supporting shaft 34 can be passed through the holder 13, outer cover 14 and spring 39 easily at a time.
