摘要 PURPOSE:To display a charge state without requiring any auxiliary power source and to prevent an electric shock accident by connecting a liquid-crystal display element (LCD), a plate capacitor, and a nonlinear resistance element electrically in parallel, and grounding its one electrode. CONSTITUTION:The plate capacitor C1 whose one electrode is grounded E is installed opposite a charging part 1 whose voltage application state is to be displayed. Further, the LCD 2, plate capacitor C1, and nonlinear resistance element 3 are connected electrically in parallel. When a voltage is applied to the charging part 1, a voltage V1 divided by electrostatic capacity V2 between the electrostatic capacity C1 of the plate capacitor C1 and the charging part is applied between electrodes of the LCD 2, which displays the charge state. If a voltage by the plate capacitor C1 is affected greatly by the conductor shape of the charging part 1, circumferential condition, the fitting state of the plate capacitor C1, etc., and the divided voltage V1 reaches the breakdown strength of a liquid crystal layer or when an abnormally high voltage is generated owing to the surge voltage of the charging part 1, the parallel connection of the element 3 protects the LCD 2.
