Mining mortar

An early-bearing mining mortar is formed from an anhydrite II having a bulk density of about 1.4 kg/dm<3>, which is obtained by burning gypsum from a flue gas desulphurisation unit. The coarsely ground anhydrite II is mixed with 1 to 2% of a sulphate-type activator. The water/solids ratio is set to between 0.1 and 0.25. It is possible to mix in 40-60% by weight of an inert support grain or sweepings.
