PURPOSE:To attain display of the working state of each element of a work program, the working state of a controller which works on the work program and these working results respectively, by converting the analysis result of the work program into the graphic data. CONSTITUTION:When a monitor display command for a work program is given to an arithmetic processing part 14 of a central processor 1 from a keyboard 15, the part 14 gives an indication to a program tracing part 11 for tracing and reading of the work program. When these program tracing and reading jobs are through, a program analyzing part 12 analyzes the work program. The result of this analysis is converted into a graphic data by a graphic data converting part 13 and supplied to an output device 6. Then each element of the work program is displayed for monitor on a CRT display part 62 in the form of a time chart under the control of a CRT control circuit 61. While the working state of a controller and the working results are also displayed for monitor on the part 62 in the form of action graphs respectively.
